Unveil Noragugume, a picturesque Italian village nestled among the hills of the province of Nuoro. With only 310 inhabitants, this enchanting place is part of the Union of the Municipalities of Marghine, offering a breathtaking view of the Marghine mountain range and the charming Omodeo lake.

The territory of Noragugume ranges between 141 and 310 meters above sea level, providing an overall elevation gain of 169 meters. A place boasting ancient history dating back to prehistoric times with evident traces from the prenuragic and nuragic eras. Monuments like the menhir Sa Perda`e Taleri and the nuraghi Tolinu and Irididdo narrate ancient legends linked to this village’s glorious past.

In the 15th century, Noragugume saw the birth of its historic center, characterized by the charming church of Santa Croce (Santa Rughe). During the judical period, it was known as Nuracogomo and belonged to the curatorship of Marghine in the Torres judicature. After various dominations, including the Aragonese in the 15th century and the Marquisate of Marghine in the 18th century, Noragugume freed itself from feudalism in 1839.

Today, the variant of Sardinian spoken in Noragugume is central Logudorese or common dialect, further enriching the culture and traditions of this captivating Italian village.
