Embark on a journey through the enduring legacy of our family-operated enterprise spanning over four generations. It all started with the bold vision of our paternal grandparents back in the 1960s, with an initial estate encompassing eight hectares of vineyards and five hectares of arable land. The early days saw us distributing wine in demijohns to patrons hailing from every corner of Sardinia.
As time progressed, Giovanni Antonio made the strategic decision to downsize the vineyard area to four hectares, focusing on extracting white sand for the stone industry until 1998. This shift brought about a significant enhancement of the entire land, reaping economic rewards that proved pivotal during challenging times in the wine sector. Post the patriarch’s demise, successors embarked on replanting a three-hectare vineyard while transitioning towards bottled wine production from bulk sales. Today, our vineyards flourish with indigenous grape varieties.
Hence, in 2002, Cantina Li Seddi took root in Badesi.
