Founded back in 1982, S’Atra Sardigna is committed to environmentally friendly practices through the use of organic farming techniques. Initially focused on horticulture and fruit cultivation, the vineyard has since broadened its scope to encompass honey production, cheese making, wine crafting, and olive oil extraction.

  • During the late 80s, S’Atra Sardigna played a pivotal role in establishing both regional (ARPA Sardegna) and national (AIAB) organic farming associations. It has also spearheaded various successful consortium initiatives, including Consorzio Ecosviluppo Sardegna, Ortosarda M.O.C., Consorzio Garanzia AIAB, Top Italian Organic, and was integral in founding UNAPROBIO (National Union of Organic Producers).

Today, this cooperative comprises nearly 100 members and manages over 2,000 hectares of land utilizing solely organic practices. Collaboration with processing firms across different industries ensures stringent quality control at every stage of production.
