, CA
The “Vigneto Santu Teru” Winery by Ugo Sionis is located in Nurallao, a small village with 1,254 inhabitants in the province of South Sardinia.
The winery currently produces six wines with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI):
- Two white wines: Karinniu and Karinniu Late Harvest, both made from Nasco grapes.
- Four red wines: Tirrigò, from local native grapes; Ba.Bo, from Barbera Sarda and Bovale grapes; Gurè, from Syrah grapes; and finally, S’Antigu, also made from Barbera Sarda grapes.
All wines are made from grapes grown on limestone soils in the Santu Teru area, located about 400 meters above sea level, using fully organic methods. This commitment to quality and sustainability makes Vigneto Santu Teru wines an authentic expression of the Sardinian territory and its rich winemaking tradition.
