Unraveling the mystery of Jacu Piu in the heart of an international spy story. On January 10, 1943, two British secret agents discovered a map with the words ‘Jacu Piu’ while disembarking in Sardinia. It was part of a spy deception operation under the code name “Moselle.” However, “Jacu Piu” was a real place then and now, nestled amid pristine forests of cork oak and wild olive trees.
