Bagadìu is a Controlled Designation of Origin wine.
Made from the Muristellu grape, vinified without being blended with other grape varieties that contribute to the renowned Mandrolisai wine, Bagadiu is born. The name Bagadiu, in Sardinian dialect, translates to “bachelor.” Like every single person, this wine with its 15% ABV shows its character: bold yet not harsh, savory, with hints of wild blackberries. However, Bagadiu’s destiny is not to remain a bachelor for life.
On the table, Bagadiu happily marries all dishes from land cuisine and local typical products. It should be served at cellar temperature. With limited production, each bottle holds a unique essence of Sardinia.
