D53 is the classic Cannonau red wine from Sardegna DOC, crafted to commemorate 60 years of activity at Cantina di Dorgali, established in 1953.

This flagship wine is produced from Cannonau grapes grown in vineyards 450 meters above sea level in Dorgali, a town in Sardegna, Nuoro province. The vines are cultivated using the alberello and cordone speronato techniques.

It showcases a beautiful intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. Mature red fruit, blueberry jams, and raspberry notes embody the aroma of this splendid Cannonau. Red flowers and spices complete the olfactory profile.

On the palate, it is warm, soft, with great structure and balance. The rich and harmonious body enhances the spicy and fruity notes, providing a broad retro olfactory richness and a very long palate persistence.

Pair it with traditional Sardinian dishes; it pairs excellently with medium to aged cheeses, braised meats, game meat, roasts, red meats, pork-based dishes, and wild boar preparations.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
