Karana Red Wine: A typical Geographical Indication wine from the Colli del Limbara region, made from Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, and Carigagiola grapes.
Tasting Notes:
- Deep ruby red color
- Clean and clear with a wide, persistent aroma
- Notes of small ripe fruits in a fragrant, vinous bouquet
- Dry, full-bodied, soft, and well-structured on the palate
- Well-balanced between acids and tannins
- Good persistence of taste and aroma
Food Pairing: Karana pairs well with flavorful first courses, meat sauces, grilled meats, roasts of red and white meats, stewed or roasted sheep and pork dishes, as well as sweet Sardinian pecorino cheese.
