Wine: Mora Bianca | Marmilla IGT
Cellar: Cantina Sociale il Nuraghe
Mora Bianca is a white wine crafted from indigenous grapes grown in the hillside vineyards of upper Marmilla, near Mogoro.
The vineyards thrive on limestone-clay soils, with excellent structure and depth. The Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters and hot summers tempered by the salty mistral wind, provides the grapes with an ideal terroir to achieve optimal ripeness. Harvest typically takes place between the last ten days of September and the first ten days of October.
- The Mora Bianca Marmilla Igt boasts an intense straw yellow color with golden highlights.
- Its alluring aroma is intensely fruity, with hints of wildflowers, syrupy fruit, citrus, and subtle balsamic and spicy undertones.
- On the palate, it is soft and full-bodied, with gentle tannins that provide a warm and enveloping sensation.
This wine pairs perfectly with seafood dishes, finely crafted fish recipes, as well as white meats and medium to long-aged cheeses.
Serve chilled at a temperature of 8-10°C for optimal enjoyment.
