Bovale Wine: A red wine with Controlled Designation of Origin, Campidano di Terralba, obtained from pure bovale grapes from vineyards on sandy and sandy-clay soils in the Terralba area and surrounding villages cultivated with bush-trained and trellised vines.
The wine has an intense red color with a slight purple hue. On the nose, the wine note is accompanied by hints of ripe red fruit, cherries, and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth, it is soft and moderately tannic, savory, with a discreet acidity that gives it a moderate freshness.
When paired with food, Bovale wine goes well with cured meats, baked vegetables, excellent with pizza, and lean red meats.
It is recommended to serve at a serving temperature of 16-18°C.
