Irilai is a red wine with Controlled Designation of Origin – Cannonau di Sardegna Classico, Nepente di Oliena, made from pure Cannonau grapes.

The wine has a deep purple color with orange reflections at maturity. The nose reveals spicy aromas of aromatic herbs that accompany the typical fruity notes of the grape variety. The maturity of the scents on the nose is confirmed on tasting. Soft tannins and a hint of acidity frame the warm sensations provided by the high alcohol content. Long and persistent in the retro-nasal sensations.

It pairs well with important and flavorful first courses, stuffed pasta with meat filling, roasted meats, lamb fricassée, and braised dishes. It is an excellent companion for aged cheeses and blue cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16°C.
