Cellar: Cantina Tani di Marini Federica
Serranu is a red wine with a Typical Geographic Indication – Isola dei Nuraghi.
This wine has an intense ruby red color with slight garnet reflections. It boasts a long bouquet of exceptional finesse, with hints of red fruits and spices. On the palate, it is broad, velvety, soft, and rightly tannic. It pairs well with dishes and roasts from land-based cuisine featuring red meats, game, and semi-mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
The average production is 35 quintals per hectare. The harvest is done manually with collection in crates. The grape skins remain in contact with the must for about two weeks. After an initial maturation in steel, it is refined in 750-liter tonneaux barrels. The production amounts to approximately 15,000 bottles.
