Discover Kabaradis Wine:
- Kabaradis is a red wine with a Typical Geographic Indication – Colli del Limbara, made from pure Nebbiolo grapes.
- This Nebbiolo is of great structure, with a ruby red color and garnet reflections. It boasts a long bouquet, blending wild berry notes with floral hints. On the palate, it is full-bodied, elegant, and generous, with the right amount of tannins. It pairs perfectly with fine meat dishes and aged cheeses.
- The vineyards are located near the village, on hills at about 500 meters above sea level. The soil comes from granitic decomposition with basalt and other effusive rocks, medium-textured tending to sandy. It is mechanically worked in spring and summer. The vines are trained using spurred cordon and bush pruning systems, spaced 100 cm apart in rows and 180 cm between rows. They are fertilized in autumn with organic composted fertilizers. After bud break, excess shoots are removed, and before veraison, cluster thinning takes place. Spring anti-parasitic treatments involve copper salts and sulfur, rarely systemic ones. Average production is below 70 quintals per hectare.
