The Legend of Fi’lu Ferru Ambrato

According to legend, in the past, due to the increasing government taxes and production costs, winemakers who distilled grappa obtained from the vinification of grapes and leftover old wine would hide their product in the ground. They would carefully trace its location with an iron wire.

  • Staying true to tradition, by distilling grape pomace in indirect steam boilers from grapes grown in the area
  • And then aging the resulting product in contact with oak woods of different varieties and juniper,
  • The Fi’lu Ferru Ambrato grappa softens and takes on harmonious sensations.
