Wine: Liquore da foglie di Mirto – Linea… | Liquore
Cellar: Ludus – Liquorificio Artigiano Ruggero Leone
The myrtle plant is a quintessential part of the Mediterranean scrubland and serves as the foundation for one of Sardinia’s most typical liqueurs. By cold-infusing young leaves and buds collected in February from the undergrowth of the Seven Brothers mountains, a delicate liqueur is produced. It has a straw-yellow color with green reflections. When served chilled, it pairs perfectly with Sardinian sweets like gueffus, amaretti, and pardulas. Moreover, it can be delightfully enjoyed with any dessert.
