Wine: Sussinku Rosso | Romangia IGT
Cellar: Nuraghe Crabioni – Tresmontes Società Agricola
Discover Sussinku Rosso: a Romangia IGT wine made from pure Cagnulari grapes, a native red berry variety from Sardinia.
Grown in Sorso, at Tresmontes location, 70 meters above sea level, the vineyard boasts 4166 plants per hectare with a yield of 70 quintals per hectare.
The winemaking process begins with meticulous cluster inspection and perfect maturation just before harvest. Grapes are handpicked in crates, destemmed, and undergo skin contact at a controlled temperature of around 28 degrees Celsius. Classic red fermentation leads to wine aging in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Sussinku exhibits an intense ruby red color with balsamic notes and ripe red fruit aromas that add complexity. On the palate, enjoy its structure, softness, and excellent acidity typical of the grape variety, resulting in a long and lingering finish.
This elegant and refined wine is well-balanced with great aging potential.
