Babbai Jolzi is a red wine from Colli del Limbara IGT, produced by the winery Tenute Villa Lauras and made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes.
Produced as a red wine, with maceration of the skins for 12-15 days at controlled temperature. Babbai Jolzi matures in tanks for about 15-20 months and then for another 6 months in the bottle.
Babbai Jolzi presents itself with a red color and garnet shades, a complex nose that offers hints of small red berries and balsamic herbs nuances.
On the palate, it is persistent and has good freshness.
Perfectly paired with meat-based dishes like veal, beef, lamb, rabbit, pork, game meat, and venison.
- Serve at a temperature of 8-10 °C.
- Uncork the bottle at least half an hour before serving.
