Originally acquired for grazing purposes in the 19th century, the enchanting lands near Arzachena now host the thriving vineyards of Capichera. In a bold move during the 1970s, the Ragnedda family planted Vermentino vines, the region’s native grape variety, and established a cutting-edge winery dedicated to producing premium wines.

Fueled by passion and commitment, brothers Fabrizio and Mario ventured into winemaking with determination. Their hard work paid off when Capichera’s first Vermentino vintage was released in 1981, setting a new benchmark for quality in Sardinian wines.
