Discover the rich history of our vineyard in Sardinia, rooted in the early 1920s when the Gregu family began cultivating vines in Barbagia. For over ninety years, they dedicated themselves to producing wine for local consumption or selling it loosely in the village and surrounding areas.

Although the family’s path briefly diverged from viticulture, their connection to the land and wine never wavered. Over time, these deep roots gained strength and awareness, ready to evolve into a solid foundation for nurturing younger vines.

Today, this bond grows stronger and more vital through the initiative of the younger branches of the family established in Gallura. They have embraced the family’s origins, ancestral teachings, and Sardinian winemaking tradition while infusing them with a fresh perspective in a viticultural project. Thus, Tenute Gregu was born – a winery in Sardinia striving to embody tradition and innovation, quality, and excellence in crafting typical Gallura and Sardinian grape varieties.

We tackle this challenge today with a youthful spirit deeply rooted in Sardinian winemaking tradition – a continuous renewal of our connection to the land.
