Our story revolves around two families who have a deep-rooted connection to the world of wine, passed down through generations with a genuine and passionate approach to homemade production that many Sardinians are familiar with.

The birth of our company is owed to the experience and love of Aunt Rosa and Uncle Domenico. In their time, they left their respective grandchildren the land to cultivate, sparking the inception of a new project. Steering this endeavor are Roberto Franceschi, Carla Vozella, Stefania Franceschi, and Roberto Ligas. In 2006, they uprooted the old vines and planted new ones. As the vineyards flourished and yielded good grapes, the time came to open a winery.

In 2012, the first bottle was uncorked. Today, Il Vigneto estates stand as a young reality with strong roots; boasting a significant female presence and thriving in harmony between modernity and tradition.

• The Il Vigneto estates are located in prime Cannonau territory.
• Situated on the granite slopes of Mount Lanusei facing South towards Riu Pardu at 500 meters above sea level.
• Here, vineyards share space with olive trees, cork oaks, and orchards while grapes absorb the scents of the Mediterranean scrubland.
• At the top of the village lies a cellar where robust wines age in oak barrels.
