Our family shares a deep-rooted passion for the art of winemaking that brings us together.
Tonino inherited the secrets of vineyard cultivation and wine production from his father Raffaele, fondly referred to as tziu Boelle Zibbo. Growing up, Marco closely observed Tonino’s unwavering commitment and love for winemaking. Inspired by this dedication, he pursued studies in Enology, combining traditional practices with innovative viticulture techniques.
At La Cantina Canneddu, meticulous attention to detail is our hallmark. Our vineyards receive daily care with minimal mechanization. In fact, we still use oxen for plowing in the oldest section of our vineyard as a nod to tradition.
Our winemaking process revolves around handpicked grapes, indigenous yeasts, and spontaneous fermentations. We take great pride in producing organic wines that carry certifications for both our vineyards and cellar. This commitment to excellence pays homage to Mamoiada’s exceptional terroir that favors the growth of cannonau grapes.
