Established in the mid-60s by the Podda family in Ussaramanna (Ca), L’Oleificio Podda was born to cater to the growing needs of olive growers in the picturesque Marmilla region. What started with traditional press equipment evolved into a modernized operation in the early 80s, featuring a cutting-edge continuous processing plant with centrifugal assistance.
Driven by a passion for olive transformation and a commitment to excellence, L’Oleificio Podda found its niche in third-party processing during this era. The late 90s marked a significant milestone with the construction of a new facility nestled in Ussaramanna’s artisanal zone, spanning over 1000 square meters. Equipped with two processing lines capable of handling over 600 quintals of olives daily, it stands as one of Sardinia’s most advanced milling plants, seamlessly blending tradition with innovation.

- 2001 saw the installation and operation of a storage and bottling plant to meet the surging demand for bottled oil while elevating product quality.
