Explore the unspoiled countryside and rich winemaking heritage that characterizes the modern era of vineyards in Sardinia. The vineyards seamlessly blend with the scenic backdrop, stretching from the inland regions to the fertile plains along the coast.
Viticulture plays a vital role in Sardinia, leveraging its distinct geological and geographical characteristics to produce exceptional wines known for their quality.
Situated in the picturesque Gulf of Asinara, our estate embraces traditional winemaking practices of Sardinia to utilize the unique coastal geological features. The sandy soil, abundant in minerals and iodine, enhances the vines, infusing them with distinctive regional flavors present in every grape cluster.
Our estate covers approximately 200 hectares, split between two separate Estates positioned around 20 km apart. While some areas are dedicated to vineyards, others cultivate artichokes and various crops. In Valledoria municipality, near the coast historically governed by the Doria family in the 12th century (from whom our estate derives its name), “Tenute Costadoria” emerges featuring a vineyard cellar and agritourism amenities.
- Surrounded by our artichoke fields that inspired its name (Agriturismo Valle di Cynara), it offers 7 charming apartments equipped with modern conveniences.
- Guests can relish an outdoor barbecue space, verdant lawns with a pool, and a designated area for cultivating agricultural products used in our restaurant.
- Visitors can indulge in authentic flavors by preparing delectable grilled meals using fresh ingredients sourced from our fields.
