Wine: Abbardente Mamuthone classica e invecchiata | Grappa da monovitigno Cannonau
Cellar: Sedilesu Giuseppe
Derived from the careful distillation of fermented Cannonau grape pomace, this grappa rests in inert containers for several months to enhance its smoothness before being aged in oak barrels for an additional 12 months. With a straw-yellow color, this grappa offers a moderately intense aroma and a perfect taste-olfactory harmony.
Notable spicy notes typical of wood-aged grappas such as coriander, cinnamon, hints of licorice, chestnut honey, and tobacco are discernible. On the palate, it is warm and round with hints of good wood, toasting, and cinnamon. An outstanding example of a balance between primary and tertiary aromas.
