Discover the Excellence of Cagnulari Wine from Tenute Delogu
The Cagnulari wine from Tenute Delogu is a red wine from the Isola dei Nuraghi IGT, made from the homonymous grape grown in Alghero, located in the northwest of Sardinia.
The grapes are usually harvested in the second decade of September, thriving in a perfect terroir with a characteristic Mediterranean climate. Mild winters and hot, dry summers create ideal conditions for this grape variety. The region experiences significant ventilation and low precipitation, mainly occurring in autumn and winter.
The vineyards are planted using the Guyot trellis system on “red” clayey soils with a notable presence of limestone. The yield per hectare ranges from 70 to 80 quintals.
When poured into a glass, Cagnulari wine displays an intense red color. On the nose, balsamic notes harmonize with spicy and toasty aromas. It is intense and persistent. On the palate, it offers a fine, complex, and fresh taste.
- Pair this exquisite wine with red meats and aged cheeses for a delightful dining experience.
- We recommend serving it at a temperature of 16-18°C to fully appreciate its flavors.
