Discover De Oro Wine from Mamoiada
De Oro is a Barbagia IGT wine crafted from pure Moscato grapes grown in 40-year-old vineyards located in Mamoiada. Only around 300 bottles of this exquisite wine, each 50 centiliters, are produced.
The vineyards thrive on granitic soil, situated approximately 600 meters above sea level. Grown using the bush-trained method, they yield an average of 35 quintals per hectare.
- The grapes are harvested in September.
- Fermentation occurs spontaneously without the use of selected yeasts.
- The wine matures in steel for 8 months before further aging in the bottle.
De Oro pairs perfectly with desserts, flavorful cheeses, white meats, and shellfish. It also serves as an excellent aperitif.
For optimal enjoyment, serve at a temperature between 12-14°C.
With an alcohol content of 16% Vol., De Oro Barbagia IGT promises a delightful journey for wine enthusiasts.
