Indulge in the exquisite taste of Giaru, a Vermentino di Sardegna DOC wine crafted from the pure essence of the indigenous grape variety.
- Cultivated in the vineyards nestled in Mejlogu, a historic and geographical region of Sardinia
- Grown in sandy, siliceous, and granitic terrains enriched with a thick layer of clay
- Located 400 meters above sea level with a planting density of 5,500 vines per hectare
Harvested typically from the second week of October, the grapes are swiftly transported to the cellar for destemming and pressing. The must undergoes static clarification before fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. After several rackings, the wine matures for at least 60 days in bottles.
Giaru presents itself with a straw-yellow hue tinged with golden reflections. Its bouquet is broad, delicately fruity, and mineral-driven. On the palate, it embodies an elegant, fresh, and savory Vermentino profile.
