Kirisi is a red wine with a Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC), Cannonau di Sardegna, made from pure Cannonau grapes. The wine undergoes fermentation on the skins for about 15 days, then matures in steel and ages for 2 months in chestnut barrels. This process imparts a complex structure and distinctive aromatic profile, typical of Cannonau. It is recommended to serve Kirisi at a temperature of 16-18 °C to fully appreciate its nuances. Ideal for pairing with traditional Sardinian dishes and red meats.
