Discover Locoe Wine from Sardinia
Locoe is a red wine with a Typical Geographic Indication – Isola dei Nuraghi, crafted from 75% Cannonau grapes and 25% Carignano, Bovale, and Monica.
Locoe matures in oak barrels for 6 months and then in bottles for an additional 3 months.
The harvest period for our wines slightly varies depending on the seasonal conditions but typically falls between the third decade of September and the first of October. The grapes are handpicked and processed in the cellar within a few hours using artisanal tools and equipment, aiming to produce high-quality wines. All production processes, including bottling, are directly overseen by the members.
This red wine has a ruby color with a fruity aroma hinting at red fruits like blackberries and plums. On the palate, it is well-structured, harmonious, and persistent. Locoe pairs perfectly with red meats, stews, and partially aged sheep cheeses.
Serve Locoe at a temperature of 18-20°C for optimal enjoyment.
