Discover the Excellence of Lun IGT Isola dei Nuraghi Red Wine
Indulge in the exquisite taste of Lun IGT Isola dei Nuraghi, a red wine crafted from a blend of Sardinian Bovale, Cagnulari, and Barbera grapes.
- Handpicked from a vineyard located in Santu Millanu, these grapes are cultivated using low spurred cordon training at an altitude of 380 meters above sea level.
- The vineyard’s unique southeast-facing slope boasts rich limestone soil, providing exceptional drainage and optimal growing conditions.
- With a yield of 50-60 quintals per hectare, these carefully harvested grapes ripen to perfection by the last week of September.
The fermentation process takes place in large Slavonian oak vats at controlled temperatures, lasting approximately 12 days with periodic punch-downs to extract maximum flavor.
After resting in stainless steel for about a year to preserve its youthful characteristics, Lun is bottled around one year post-harvest. While it can age gracefully for several years, this wine is best enjoyed early on for its delightful flavors.
Lun IGT Isola dei Nuraghi showcases an intense ruby color with violet hues and an aromatic bouquet featuring hints of capers, anchovies, and sweet spices. Its elegant taste is defined by well-defined tannins, balanced acidity, and a crisp structure that enlivens the palate.
Depending on the vintage, only 7 to 9 thousand bottles are produced annually to ensure quality and exclusivity.
Serve this exceptional wine at a temperature between 16-18°C to experience its full spectrum of flavors. Unveil the magic of Lun IGT Isola dei Nuraghi with each sip!
