Nibaru is a red wine with Controlled Designation of Origin – Monica di Sardegna, made from Monica grapes.
The wine has a clear ruby red color with good consistency. It boasts an intense, persistent, and fine aroma on the nose, with floral fruity notes of red fruits intertwined with subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is savory, full-bodied, moderately warm, and exhibits well-modulated tannins with a pleasant hint of freshness.
It pairs well with Italian appetizers, assorted cold cuts and hams, soups, and even hearty pasta dishes. Nibaru can complement an entire meal and should be served at a temperature of 14°C.
