 'Oje | Cannonau di Sardegna D.O.C.

Oje is a red wine with Controlled Designation of Origin obtained from Cannonau, Montepulciano, and Carignano grapes.

The wine has an intense ruby red color, with orange reflections as it ages. It has a strong and persistent aroma, ethereal, vinous, with hints of berries. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, full-bodied, and rightly tannic. Ideal for roasts, game meat, and cheeses with a strong and spicy flavor. Serve at a temperature of 18-20°C.

  • Symbolism:
  • The triangles with opposing vertices are another recurring symbol in island culture. At the base is the number 3, repeated several times, along with the sacred symbol of the bull.
  • These symbols are the foundation of Sardinian culture. The five triangles allude to the number of fingers on a hand, symbolizing the strength and “full” taste of this wine.
