Wine: Otto Marzo | I.G.T. – Romangia.
Cellar: Tenute Dettori
Discover Otto Marzo Wine:
Experience Otto Marzo, a red wine with a Typical Geographic Indication – Romangia, crafted solely from Pascale grapes.
The Inspiration:
- My grandfather was born on the eighth of March. Stern yet with a heart of gold.
The Winemaking Process:
- Crafting wine from pure Pascale grapes presents a challenge. While many talk about indigenous varieties, I strive to elevate them.
Tasting Notes:
- Serve at around 13-15°C after allowing it to breathe. Its oxidative evolution is intriguing to follow.
Glassware and Serving Tips:
- Pour into a large Tulip glass. Let the bottle rest post-transportation. The wine remains unclarified and unfiltered, any sediments are natural.
Production Process:
- The grapes were handpicked and delicately transported in crates within our Fiat 100 Refrigerated Truck. After destemming, the grapes macerated for ten days at a controlled temperature. Decanting and aging occurred in small cement tanks until bottling in May/June. The wine remained unclarified, unfiltered, and unstabilized. Bottles are further matured in a strictly temperature-controlled cellar.
