Ruinas White Wine from Colli del Limbara

Our vineyards are nestled in the heart of Gallura, on hills approximately 350 meters above sea level. The soil, a mix of granitic and sandy components resulting from decomposition, is mechanically worked during spring and summer. The vines are pruned using cordon spur training system, spaced 120 cm apart in rows and 250 cm between them. In autumn, organic compost fertilizers nourish the soil. Excess shoots are removed after flowering, and cluster thinning takes place before veraison. Springtime anti-parasitic treatments involve copper salts and sulfur with occasional systemic applications. Our average yield is below 70 quintals per hectare.
