Salana: A Cannonau di Sardegna DOC red wine produced by Vigneti Zanatta winery, made from Cannonau grapes grown in the Gallura region of Sardinia.
Winemaking: Two days of cold maceration followed by traditional maceration for 8-10 days in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 24-26°C.
Tasting Notes: Salana Cannonau di Sardegna DOC displays a vibrant garnet color, with an intense, persistent, broad, and ethereal aroma. This wine can age gracefully and should be stored in a cool, dark cellar with a constant temperature.
Food Pairing:
- Ideal with robust dishes like red meats and game meats, as well as pecorino cheese.
Serving Temperature: Serve at around 18-20°C.
