Wine: Salto di Coloras 2014 | Malvasia di Bosa DOP
Cellar: Cantina Angelo Angioi
Salto di Coloras 2014 is a sweet Protected Designation of Origin wine, Malvasia di Bosa, made from Malvasia grapes harvested in a single solution, without the presence of botrytis. The grapes undergo a short maceration process, with the must being cooled and cleaned through static decantation. The fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature using selected yeasts. The wine is stabilized and sterile filtered before bottling.
The wine has a straw yellow color with light greenish reflections and a long bouquet reminiscent of white peach, lemon balm, and aromatic herbs. It is particularly delicate on the palate, presenting itself as sweet, broad, and soft with a slightly acidic vein that adds freshness. It has a characteristic aftertaste and can be served as an aperitif, possibly paired with fresh pastries.
