Wine: Serra Oro | Isola dei Nuraghi I.G.T.
Cellar: Colle Nivera
Serra Oro is a Sardinian passito wine from the Isola dei Nuraghi IGT, made from Moscato grapes grown in the vineyards owned by Cantina Colle Nivera in Lula.
The grapes are harvested starting from the second decade of September, taken to the cellar, and left to dry on racks for about 10 days. They are then destemmed and vinified; after pressing, the grape must undergoes static cleaning before fermentation with temperature control. After several rackings, the clarified wine is aged for six months in steel containers.
Moscato Passito Serra Oro has a beautiful golden yellow color and a nose that stands out for its intense aroma, with distinct notes typical of the grape variety. It is delicate, sweet, elegant, and harmonious on the palate.
- It is a dessert wine, perfect to pair with dry pastries.
- Try it with blue cheeses that are soft and full-flavored.
Serve at a temperature of 14°C.
