Discover Tani Passito Wine:
- Tani Passito is a sweet wine from Isola dei Nuraghi IGT, made from indigenous white grape berries.
- The vineyard in Conca Sa Raighina (planted in 1980) grows on sandy soil with granitic decomposition. It has a slightly acidic pH at an altitude of 300-350 meters above sea level, with plant spacing of 2.50 x 1.20 meters.
- Guyot training system with 6/7 buds per vine is used, resulting in low yields per hectare.
- The harvest takes place in late October, selecting grapes affected by Noble Rot.
Winemaking Process:
- Maceration on the skins for 24 hours after destemming and crushing, followed by gentle pressing and must clarification.
- Fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures with regular racking. The wine then matures on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes:
- Tani Passito has an intense golden yellow color and aromas of dried fruits. It is mineral-driven with a long and persistent taste profile.
Serving Recommendations:
- This dessert wine is best served at a temperature of 10°C to fully appreciate its flavors.
Additional Information:
- With an alcohol content of 15% Vol., Tani Passito’s label features typical Nuragic boats sailing in a “luminous” sea, symbolizing the continuity between the past and present abundance.
