Terra e Mare Bianco | Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Superiore

Terra e Mare Bianco – A True Expression of Vermentino Wine

Indulge in the exquisite Terra e Mare Bianco, a Vermentino di Gallura DOCG wine crafted from 100% Vermentino grapes sourced from a vineyard established in 2008.

The grapes are meticulously harvested from vineyards located in Berchidda at Muros, nestled in the Olbia-Tempio province of Sardinia. Grown on granitic decomposing soil, these vines are cultivated low with short guyot trellising, yielding 4500 bottles per hectare.

The manual harvest commences early September. The grapes undergo a cold maceration process for 24-48 hours at near 0°C before being gently pressed following destemming. This meticulous technique, unlike traditional winemaking methods, preserves the fruit’s essence and aroma throughout the fermentation process in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

Terra e Mare Bianco, a Vermentino di Gallura DOCG wine, boasts a pale straw color with bright greenish hues. Its elegant and intense bouquet evokes the essence of grape with hints of Mediterranean scrubland, golden apple, grapefruit, broom, and wildflowers. On the palate, it offers a refreshing and lingering sensation.

  • Pair this exceptional wine with clams, Berchidda soup, sushi, seafood dishes, light fish entrees, vegetable tarts, fresh cow or goat cheeses.

Serve Terra e Mare Bianco chilled at 8-10°C to fully appreciate its nuanced flavors and aromas. Elevate your dining experience with this remarkable Vermentino wine that captures the essence of Sardinia’s terroir.
