Passito Indolente | Moscato di Sardegna DOC - Passito

Indolente Passito: A Sweet Moscato di Sardegna DOC Passito wine, made exclusively from Moscato grapes and limited to only 10,000 bottles.

The grapes are grown in the vineyards located in Sorso at an altitude of 70 meters above sea level on sandy, medium-textured soils with a decent presence of gravel. The yield per hectare is 50 q/ha at harvest, 25 q/ha after drying, and 10 q/ha of wine after aging in wood. Trained using spur-pruned cordon method, they have a planting density of 5681 vines per hectare.

After the harvest usually taking place in the first ten days of September, the grapes are whole-cluster pressed without destemming and gently pressed before fermenting at low temperatures in steel and wood. The wine then matures in small French oak barrels for nearly 2 years and finishes aging in the bottle for about 6 months.

Indolente Passito presents a golden yellow color with marked amber reflections. On the nose, it is intense with hints of honey, apricot, pineapple, and spicy notes. In the mouth, it is extremely velvety with a pleasant taste balance that makes each sip long-lasting and intoxicating.
