Discover Castero, a still IGT Ogliastra red wine made exclusively from Cannonau grapes harvested in Lanusei, Sardinia.
The grapes are handpicked from late September to early October, carefully destemmed, and left to macerate for about 7 days with repeated punch-downs at controlled temperatures.
Castero IGT Ogliastra presents an intense ruby red color with garnet hues. The nose reveals strong fruity notes complemented by subtle spicy undertones.
On the palate, it is round and warm, striking a perfect balance between softness and tannins.
- Pairs well with earthy appetizers, roasts, game meats, and aged cheeses.
- Best served at a temperature of 16-18°C.
