Assaje is a red wine with a Typical Geographic Indication – Isola dei Nuraghi, made from pure Carignano grapes.
This wine has an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. It reveals a splendid fusion of ethereal and vinous notes on the nose, where hints of black fruits, cherry in spirit, blackberry, myrtle, spices, eucalyptus, cocoa, and briny notes can be perceived. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, savory, with rich and concentrated ripe fruit and a fine tannic texture; the finish is long and persistent; showing great character.
The word Assaje means “"it’s already something"” in the Gallurese dialect. From an experiment came success.
