Rosato Cannonau di Sardegna DOC: This wine is produced from pure Cannonau grapes in the Rigàtteri Estates in Alghero.
The vineyards thrive on the typical soil of the Coral Riviera, characterized by alluvial clay, yielding 60 quintals per hectare. The grapes are handpicked during harvest.
The processing of Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Rosato involves white winemaking at a temperature of around 18°C to extract the grape’s characteristic notes.
The must undergoes no clarification processes to retain all the varietal fragrances. It offers a bouquet with hints of thistle and eucalyptus, fragrant, harmonious, and elegant.
On the palate, it is appropriately savory with flavors of Mediterranean scrubland and fresh fruit. It pairs well with seafood dishes like risottos, fresh pasta, and fish.
